Avast! Thar be scurvy sea dogs about DA an' I be wantin' ye to know about it!

Some dude stole some work from

which I can totally see. His artwork is amazing and all that stuff, but it still doesn't make it right.

But I can see someone doing that.

Then comes the part where I get confused. This douchebag on eBay is selling my Grendel/Deadpool wallpaper design on a shirt. MY art...on a shirt? Why me? How did he find it? I'm not very popular on the Devious Artus (which is to say, not at all) but some dude just waltzes in here and steals my work...

and are going to Yasumicon (In FIU campus in Miami) and should be selling a book *cough cough* and ART! Free oragami with a pic, or oragami for $1...or steps on oragaminization for $3. Prints are $5 and commissions are $8-$??. If you're down there anyway, come on by and say hi!

P.S.: Need a list of characters/shows to choose from that I'm drawing for prints. Any ideas? Don't follow anime (at all, for some reason) anymore, so I need anime ideas as well.

Well, firs thing I would do is start sueing. You have the original artwork, and it is automatically copyrighted to your account when you post it on DA. So, that guy is breaking the law by selling your copyrighted work, with out your permission for their own profit. It's hardly a fight in court. And very illegal. And very easy way to get a lot of money.
I'm serious, take the guys info that you can get from his ebay account and get in touch with the authorities.
As artists we can't just let people steal our artwork and shrug it off cause they will keep doing it to others.

I'd say contact DeviantArt and ask them what you can do in a situation like this, since your artwork was copyrighted in their system. They should give you some good legal advice. Art theft mustn't be tolerated.
